(IN DEVELOPMENT) A 3D first-person procedural art gallery and walking simulator.
Liminalita is an upcoming 3D first-person procedural art gallery and exploration simulator built in Godot 4 without AI-generated content.
Players explore non-Euclidean exhibition halls displaying dynamically generated 2D/3D math art, algorithmic sculptures, and shifting architectural spaces—inspired by Procjam 2021 and games like Antichamber and LSD: Dream Emulator.
Key exhibits and features include:
- Free Exhibit Tour: A curated walk through algorithmically generated canvases and dynamic lighting setups.
- Infinite Hallway: Non-Euclidean recursive corridor loop with dynamic portal transitions.
- Atrium Room: Spatial reset chambers featuring seamless plane triggers (
compile-map.ps1TrenchBroom workflow). - Aquarium Exhibit: Procedural flocking behavior and algorithmic marine life simulation.
- Hilbert's Grand Hotel: Infinite room navigation powered by mathematical space-filling curve algorithms.
Built with Godot 4, GDScript, TrenchBroom level tools (func_godot), Crocotile 3D and Blender low-poly models, GLSL/GDShader outline effects, Aseprite textures, SunVox audio synthesis, and Python helper tooling.
